Holmes-made Toad In The Hole

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of 6 premium sausages
  • 100 ml of Skimmed Milk
  • 1 egg
  • 70g flour
  • pinch of salt

Method

  • Heat oven to 180C
  • Line a dish (approx12x9 inches) with greaseproof paper
  • Place sausages in dish and bake for 20 mins
  • Mix flour, eggs, milk and salt in bowl to form batter
  • TIP: Check batter goes “blop blop” when whisked with a metal spoon if not add a drop of water (grandma taught me this)
  • Pour batter on sausages and bake in oven for another 20-25 mins.
