A sweet treat loved by those at the seaside

Ingredients
- 400g Granulated Sugar
- 200g desiccated coconut
- 125 ml milk
- pink food colouring
Method
- Butter and line a baking tin with greaseproof paper
- Put sugar and milk in saucepan and boil for 3 mins.
- Remove from heat and add coconut and stir
- (*optional) separate mixture in half and put half into bottom of tin for white and pink
- Add food colouring till pink and stir well and place mixture into tin and press down
- When cool cut into bars and store in an airtight container
